In case when a student completes studies at the university (or in case of student’s early expulsion) the university administration issues an expulsion directive. When the expulsion directive is issued a student loses his/her status and purpose of stay in Russia «Education». Thus a foreigner must leave Russia within 3 working days from the date of expulsion directive issuing.
Please be informed that the university sends information about all expelled international students to the Ministry of Internal Affairs Migration Department to reduce foreigners’ period of temporary stay (including reducing the validity period of a study visa).
Staying of an expelled foreigner without legal documents is a violation of migration legislation. Violation of the law may result in administrative or criminal liability for a person.
